EC English Language Schools: Boston (Junior) no ofrece clases durante los días festivos antedichos. La escuela no da reembolso para estos días perdidos, pues cuídese cuando elige sus fechas de viaje.

Descripción del curso

Explore Boston from our city-centre campus in the heart of all the main attractions. Learning English in the USA’s top education city is a wonderful experience for any young person.

Learning centre
Classes are held in the Junior Centre in the heart of Boston, with all the attractions of the city within walking distance from the school. EC Boston’s Junior Centre has a dedicated EC Academic Coordinator.

Course
Students attending this programme will attend a General English course. General English – 20 lessons (45 mins each) per week for a total of 15 hours. The course will develop students’ English language skills by integrating the key areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening. Lessons are focused upon communication; our teachers will encourage students, instilling confidence in their use of English in practical situations. Regular tests and conversation classes help to ensure students improve their English throughout their stay in Boston.
Time Table: Lessons 09:00 – 12:30 or 1:30 – 5pm with a 30 minute break (Monday – Friday)
Classes will begin on the second day and students will follow a regular time table.
Students are integrated with other international students in class.

Examples of activities:
Museum of Fine Arts, Harvard University Tour, Soccer, Newbury Street Shopping, Sky Walk Observatory, Six Flags Amusement Park, Bowling, Revere Beach Freedom Trail Walk, Capoeira Dance Class, Hard Rock Café & Faneuil Hall.

Attendance
Attendance at school is compulsory unless there is a justified reason for absence. In the case of a student falling ill, an EC staff member will provide assistance. If students are required to see a doctor a basic visit can be expensive.
100% attendance is required to receive the the End of Course Certificate.

Educational materials
Educational materials are provided. Students should bring their own notepaper and pens.
